What we set

Jyme News sets no third-party cookies and no advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking.

Local storage keys

Three localStorage keys are used for UX preferences, not tracking:

• jn:popup:dismissed — timestamp of when you dismissed the newsletter popup, so we don't re-show it for six hours.
• jn:floating:dismissed — timestamp of when you dismissed the floating CTA, suppressed for two hours.
• jn:theme — dark/light preference if you ever change the theme (currently dark-only).

Opting out

Clearing your browser's site data for jyme.ioremoves everything we stored. You can also block localStorage for this site in your browser settings — the site will still function, you'll just see the popup and floating CTA each visit.

Analytics

If we add analytics, it will be a privacy-preserving product (Plausible, Fathom, or similar) that does not set identifying cookies. This policy will be updated when that happens.

Advertising

Sponsored banners link directly to advertisers' domains. The advertiser's site may set its own cookies when you click through — that's their policy, not ours.
